I almost ran out of paint on this one!
I have a couple bottles left anyway. I've been playing around with backgrounds and this one was quite dark so I added tons of colors to it. It started out a deep burgundy and then I added pink, white, turquoise, sky blue...you name it!

lol! thats what happens sometimes, a painting just doesn't look right, so you add and change colors, change the hair, background, dress color. Stay with it until it feels right...
yes, unfortunately you sometimes have to go through lots of paint, but think of the nice texture you will have ;-D

This is just darlin and I giggled cause I've been in the same position with a random color and only a few bottles left and maybe even a ratty and tattered brush.
