19th Century Inspired Ornament-Finished!

This little guy was a lot of fun to make and I can't wait to make more! I painted him again and added his face and 'Glisten' across his belly. I used a Walnut stain to age him and then added Mica flakes, embossing powder and glitter. His scarf is made of tinsel. Easy and lots of fun to make. The longest part of course, is letting everything dry before you do the next layer.

This is too cute! I would never have thought to use walnut stain to age him. I would be too afraid I would mess it up. Great job.

Thank you so much! He was fun and easy to make. The cool thing about the walnut stain is that it wipes off so easy so you can sort of control how much you put on.

Hope everyone has a blessed Holiday!

Oh my gosh I love him. He DOES look like one of Great Grandma's old ornaments and that is so cool! I adore his vintage look. Great idea and great job. Oh, and I got here via someone from Suzi Blu's site. Nice to meet you.

Did you sell these on Ebay or Etsy? If you do decide to make more to sell, let me know! They are so cute! Thanks for stopping by my blog and the nice comment.
